Catching the New Year's baby

On New year's eve one of my clients labored with her first child. The baby girl arrived just before midnight and the year 2010. It was so magical for us all. Mummy and Daddy and their adorable daughter and myself, watched the fireworks dance in the midnight sky as Big Ben struck midnight. All over central London, the sky was lit up with colorful bursts. We were on the 7th floor but we could still hear people cheering in the streets below us. I think that NYE 2009/2010 will always be in my heart now as a special time.
