Room 3061

It has been appointed

Your Homecoming

Your mind is clear
Your heart sees

My mind is grateful
My heart is aching

Your home is away from me
Your home is with me.

Joy, jubilant, journey
Tears tumble.

Was His face smiling
The way He was sketched

You have all the answers to "why"
I am asking "why"

Our last time
Running through my mind

We were together
You spoke of a number 3061
"Do you know of it?" you asked.
Then you tried to speak, about him and things that needed to be done and if I could help you and contact him. "Surely" I responded.  I added, "Dad everything is taken care of. Mom is settled. You have done everything possible and our lives are good."
The smile you had lost as of late
returned. You closed your eyes and said "You know, I think you are right"
We celebrated with a bag of Cheezits and ginger ale.  Your hand and the bag had quite a wrestling match.  You somehow managed to pick up every orange square from your lap.

Did you get the room to the west

A view of endless sunsets
Beside the golden streams

He went to prepare a room for you.

I talked to Him just like you had asked.
He said the room was almost ready

He was just finishing the placard
For your new address

Room 3061.
