I can't imagine a better comment then to recommend two books by Dr. Dan Gottlieb, quadriplegic psychologist as a result of an accident in his thirties,who on his professional card removes his Ph.D. and replaces his credential with the word "human". Dan has been the interviewer on an award winning NPR radio station in Philadelphia for years. He has written two books related to his autistic grandson named Sam...The first, translated into 12 languages, is "Letters to Sam". And the one most recently is "The Wisdom of Sam". Look them up on Amazon and check the customer reviews with comments by therapists and others. Dan wrote the book "Learning from the Heart", is a national presenter at conferences, and has a psychology practice. I think the compassionate attitude and parenting by Jeff Ciusano re his son Joey will be enhanced by Dan's books.
